My trip to Poly Fest

Poly Fest is a Polynesian festival. It is basely like fiafia except where games, real guns which were heavy as and there was ever a demonstration of how to put out a fire in your kitchen.  


My favourite thing of the day was walking around and looking at starf, playing games, watching performance like the Maori and the Fijian group

My second highlight was getting a gift. Because there were glasses, a poster, some tattoos and a fan as well

Kawau Island

On Tuesday me and my Mum went to Pt england school. Then we got to the school we had to put the bags onto the bus. After that we to line up to go into the bus. When we got to the fairy site we got to have morning tea but the worst part was we had to take the bags off the bus and put them onto the ferry.

When we got to Camp Bentzon we had to drop our off bags. After that we had lunch. Next we went for a hike down steep Hills and up hills. The hike was very tiring, my legs were dying, because of all of the up hills and the stopping between the steep hills. Then after woods We had stuff like free time and dinner.

The next day

The next day we woke up Then we had to go for another hike up the hill (killa hill) and we had to do that for the rest of the week. When we came back we got to line up in our team line and have breakfast. We had Weet-Bix, rices, cornflakes, peaches and spaghetti on toast for breakfast and much more yummier staff for Dinner and lunch.

The activities we had to do were the burma trail, kayaking, abseiling and seiling. We needed to use a life jacket and a harness. But my Favorite thing to do was seiling. Because the water was splashing on my clothes.

When we were Finished the activities. We had to clean up the cabins. When we got to have free time. Then we had to take off our bags lay on the deck.

The Bush

The Bush

One night two people which were a Adam and Carlos explore The Bush. Then suddenly they saw something in The Bush Adam said “wwwwhat’s in there” but it was only a sheep. So then they started walking again and adam stepped on a leaf and said “aaaaaaaaaaaaaa”. And just kept walking then they heard something else in the The Bush carlos “wwwwhat’s in there” but really it was a dear. Then just continued walking but last Adam or carlos stepped on something.

Then carlos stepped on a stick and said “aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa “  as well. They felt something on there back. And it felt like a hand or a spider crawling up his. Then ran like the flash to get away from jason.but when they were running for their lives they lost each other in the The Bush and cod not get back to each other in the The Bush

Then they kept on going around in circles. Then found each other in the morning and did not die from jason the killer.

Holiday Highlight

In the Holidays me and my brother went to Holiday program. We went to parakai spring pools, the movies, Rock Climbing and Gravity.

It took an hour to get there. When we got there my brother and I had to listen to the safety rules. Then we had morning tea and want into the pool. They had a hydro side a pool and a spa pool.

Then next week we went to Rock Climbing. One of the supervisory said that it will take harf an hour to get there but it took twenty mins. When we got there my brother and I had to listen to the safety rules. I finished all of the walls. Then we went back to the centre.

Immersion Assembly

At our immersion assembly we had lots of fun because we ate and cooked pancakes and we also got to watch movies  that our teachers made before the school holidays.

My favourite movies was teams four and five. I liked the team four movie because it was funny and it has more interesting stuff in it like about eating too much lollies and could red bull give you wings. I knew that red bull couldn’t give you wings because red bull a fizzy drink that don’t actually give you wings and I also knew that lollies weren’t good for kids because it is not healthy for them.

I like team five’s movie because you get to know more about gas, liquid, and also solid. I really like team two’s movie because we get to check out to see which one can float and which one can sink.
